Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

LookMemo is an iPhone app and the website lookmemo.com. The person responsible for your data (the controller, "we") is Andrey Goleta, ul. Komputerowa 7a/85, 02-676 Warszawa, Poland. Questions about your data: support@icoffio.com.

2. What data we receive

• Account: your email address, or your Apple identifier if you sign in with Apple, and your name if you choose to share it.
• What you add: photos and descriptions of your items, outfits and albums, selfies for your color type, full-length photos for try-on, details of your family members, your messages to the stylist and the short notes about your style preferences the stylist takes from them and, if you enter them in your profile, your height, weight, body measurements (bust or chest, waist and hips), preferred fit, lifestyle and notes about yourself.
• Purchases: the type and term of your subscription. Apple tells us this; we never receive your payment details.
• Location: an approximate location (about 1 km), if you allow location access. We use it only for the weather forecast.
• Technical data: server logs (IP address, time and errors of requests), crash reports and, if you allow it, usage statistics.
• Usage information: which features of the app you use, as our server sees them (for example, opening your wardrobe, adding an item, writing to the stylist), the app and iOS versions, and the country we work out from your IP address. We do not keep the address for this.
• Messages to us: your emails, so that we can reply.

Voice input is recognized by Apple; we receive only the text. The website uses cookies to keep you signed in and, only if you allow it on the website, for visit statistics with Google Analytics (Google, USA): which pages were opened, from which country and on which device. The pages of the signed-in web app are not measured. You can withdraw this consent at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the website.

3. Why we use it

• To provide the service: your wardrobe, item evaluations, outfits, color type, chat with the stylist and your subscription. Legal basis: our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Stylist memory: up to eight short notes about your style preferences (for example, colors you avoid or the fit you like) that the stylist takes from your chats in the app, so that it does not have to ask again. You see them in your profile under "What the stylist remembers about you" and can delete any of them; a deleted note is not added again. Legal basis: our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Virtual try-on: up to five full-length photos of you, used only after you give explicit consent in the app. You can withdraw consent in the app; your full-length photos and try-on images are then deleted. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
• About me: your height, weight, body measurements (bust or chest, waist and hips), the body shape worked out from them, your preferred fit, your lifestyle and notes about yourself, only if you enter them in your profile. The stylist uses them only for its advice to you, such as fit, lengths and proportions. You can change or delete them in your profile at any time. They may count as health data, so the legal basis is your explicit consent, which you give by entering them (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 9(2)(a)).
• Usage statistics: Google Firebase Analytics, only if you allow it in the app. You can switch it off in Settings at any time. App versions released before September 30, 2026 sent usage statistics without asking; after you update, they are sent only if you allow it. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
• Usage information: to see which features help and to improve the app. It stays on our servers and is not shared with advertisers or analytics companies. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the app (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); you can object at any time by writing to support@icoffio.com.
• Security and fixing errors, including crash reports. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a reliable service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

4. Artificial intelligence

The stylist's replies, item descriptions and evaluations, your color type, the stylist's notes about your preferences, Studio pictures and try-on images are created by OpenAI models. For this, we send OpenAI the photos and texts needed, including what you have entered in About me: height, weight, measurements, body shape, preferred fit, lifestyle and notes, and, to update the stylist's notes, your recent chat messages together with your current notes and the wording of the notes you deleted (so that a deleted note is not added again), at most once a day. OpenAI does not train its models on them and keeps them for up to 30 days to monitor abuse. AI results are suggestions: a try-on image does not guarantee fit or size.

5. Who else receives data

Only providers that LookMemo cannot work without, and only for that work:

• A hosting provider in Germany: servers, the database and photos.
• OpenAI (USA): artificial intelligence.
• Google Firebase (USA): crash reports and, if you allow it, usage statistics.
• Google Analytics (USA): visit statistics of the website, only if you allow it there.
• Apple: Sign in with Apple, purchases and speech recognition.
• A weather service: only approximate coordinates, nothing about you.
• An email service: sign-in codes.

Transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. How long we keep data

• Your account and everything you add: until you delete them.
• The stylist's notes about you: until you delete them or your account. So that a deleted note is not added again, we keep its wording, hidden, until you delete your account.
• Full-length photos for try-on: until you delete them or withdraw your consent.
• Server logs: up to 12 months.
• Backups: up to 30 days.
• Crash reports: up to 90 days.
• Usage statistics: up to 14 months.
• Usage information: up to 14 months.

When you delete your account, your data is removed from our active systems immediately and from backups within 30 days.

7. Your rights

You can get a copy of your data, correct or delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a machine-readable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Most of this can be done right in the app; for anything else, email support@icoffio.com and we will reply within one month. You can complain to the data protection authority of your country or to the Polish one, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl).

8. Security

Connections are encrypted, photos are kept in private storage, and only the administrator has access to the servers and backups.

9. Age

LookMemo is for people aged 16 and over. If a child under 16 has given us their data, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We will tell you about significant changes in the app. The version dated at the top of this page is the one in force. This policy is published in 8 languages; if a translation differs, the English version prevails.
